Juan Becomes a Certified Barista — Bringing Expertise to On'Ze
Starting Monday, July 28, our founder completes barista certification — and every guide on this site gets sharper because of it.
A Milestone for On'Ze
Next Monday, July 28, I finish my barista certification — a formal step in a journey that started 25 years ago in a corner coffee shop.
I'm not becoming someone new. I'm bringing trained technique to what we've always cared about: connection, quality, and coffee that honors the farmers behind every bag.
What Changes for You
The Brew Guide stays your quick reference — grind, ratio, water, time, in under a minute.
The Journal is where I'll share fuller guides: dial-in tips, origin notes, and the small details that make a great cup repeatable at home.
Everything is still rooted in the same On'Ze Coffee you know — small-batch roasted, ethically sourced, crafted for connection.
Why It Matters
Certification gives us a shared language for extraction, texture, and balance. That means clearer recommendations for your pour-over, French press, or morning drip — always matched to the roast in your bag.
Thank you for being part of this story. I can't wait to pour the first certified cup with you.
